When it launched in Spring / Summer 2007, Thaidesigner, Disaya Sorakraikitikul’s self-titled
label “Disaya” immediately caught the attention of the fashion world with its feminine silhouettes and striking, sometimes eccentric prints that subverted the overall perception of delicacy.
Idiosyncratic and whimsical the label quickly became afashion lover’s favourite and over the next 2 years grew its international presence in more than 20 countries, as well as opening its very first flagship store at the Gaysorn shopping mall in Thailand, designed by world-famous Italian architect, Paolo Giachi.
Drawing influence from her favourite city, London, Disaya continues to create extravagant and youthful ready-to-wear collections replete with the distinctive feminine eccentricity that she has become known for.
Having pulled back from international distribution to focus on growing her domestic business, she now feels ready, having established a strong and supportive community online, to bring her vision back to the world
stage for 2023 - older and wiser, but with the same joyful spirit that infused
her earlier collections.
