In 2002, retailer Obi Ejiofor and his wife Sandra Verstraten launched Self Service Showroom as a home for the new and emerging designers they had been championing in their store on the Kings Road - brands like Manish Arora, LA Petite S**** and Ashish all started their journeys with the duo. 20 years on and the agency has developed from a 2 person family operation into a full scale wholesale & distribution agency, offering a 360 strategical approach to global brand development, driving growth whilst still honouring the founding ethos: to champion young talent and offer a clear and sustainable route to market.

At Self Service our approach to brand
development is based on 4 core pillars: Wholesale, Logistics, Digital, and Retail
– the essential foundations required to position and build a stablebrand & audience within a satellite market.

Working holistically and collaboratively
with our partners to deliver exceptional service across these principles and
driving sustainable growth via our well-established network of retail partners,
our aim is to become an extension of the brands we represent, a home away from
home, where the brand’s core values can be communicated with the appropriate market nuance.

We are able to offer a fully comprehensive package to clients, or tailor an approach depending on specific needs: if a brand wants wholesale and retail, we can build out a plan that delivers those 2 things, alternatively if a brand is looking for fulfilment & retail support, we can work to that specificity also, flexibility is the key.
