In 1994, Annette Cook created a line of children's products in an array of calming colours that soothed the senses, gathering inspiration from her three sons, Grayson, Chase, and Preston. For that inaugural collection she used the softest flannels, satins, and knits as the foundation of the brand. In 2012, Annette lost her courageous battle with cancer. Determined to continue her legacy, her husband, Stan, has built Barefoot Dreams into the
brand it is today – the premier destination for cozy blankets, loungewear, and apparel for the whole family.

Taking inspiration from that inaugural collection, the brand has developed and patented a series of fabrications in soft colours that calm and comfort – across an ever-growing category list, from pet accessories to baby toys, sleepwear, and loungewear to travel wraps and blankets.

With celebrity fans including Oprah Winfrey, Kate Hudson, Justin Bieber and Jennifer Garner, the brands ultra-soft blankets, throws, loungewear have consistently topped best seller lists and gift guides – delivering coziness at an extraordinary level.
